I'm Back With My May Currently

The last three weeks have been a blur! I haven't had the time or inclination to write a blog post or even to read any blog posts...sorry you guys.  I have missed you though!!  It is a beautiful Sunday here in Michigan and I should be outside soaking up the sun....but I wanted to squeeze in my May Currently posting:

My washing machine is on overdrive this weekend.  How did it get so behind on my laundry?  I will be washing and folding and putting away ALL DAY!  Its a good thing I've got some helpers!

Baseball season has started and in our household that means baseball practice and games at least 3 days a week!!  I love watching my son's games but it sure soaks up our week!  Thank goodness for Chef Boyardee (shameful, I know)!!

As I sit at all those baseball games and practices, my mind is swirling with so many ideas for my TpT store and for my class next year!  This seems to be the time of year when I start planning things for next year and all of the thing I'm going to do differently!!

The weather has warmed up and there is so much to do...I need an extra day off!!

I'm sure I've mentioned this in a few past Currently editions...I need to start walking again!!  It just hasn't happened yet!  I've been "off the wagon" since November.   Several bad bugs have kept me more sedentary than normal.  This week....this week....this week!!

This summer I really want to improve some of the existing products in my TpT store.  I opened my store in December and rushed to put out a lot of things.  Now I want to polish up some of those early projects that may be a little rough around the edges.  I also want spend time just enjoying life over the summer....barbeques, walks at the lake, napping, etc.  Nothing is worse than going back to school in August feeling like I've sat at the computer all summer long working!!

So...that's it!  Happy May!!

I have been MIA in blogland, but I have created several new products!!  Be sure to check them out and if you like them, put them on your wishlist to purchase during the TpT Annual Teacher Appreciation Sale going on this week May 7-8!!  You'll enjoy 28% off everything in my store!! Use promo code TAD13.

  1. I just found your blog from the currently and I am your newest follower.

I can totally relate to your feeling on being MIA. This time of year gets crazy busy!

Looks like you've found the time to pump out some great TPT products though!

  2. Thanks to Farley's rule of three, I have found your most awesome blog through Currently. I am loving that you are on to some great weeks of baseball, we are just winding down the dance season in our house, so I am free for at least a few weeks! The washing machine is doing its work here too, I have been such a slacker! MIA also seems to be the trend these past few weeks for a lot of us, so don't beat yourself up, just enjoy your life and check in here whenever the need fits.

Have a blessed week and come by to visit me at my little ole world:

  4. Hi Kathy
thanks for leaving me a comment...START walking...I fell off the wagon last June and gained 7 lbs...so I started up in January and am pretty faithful every school day and walk between 3 and 4 miles a day, I've lost those lbs. that I gained and then some...feels so good!
I am going to check out your store...

  5. Hi Kathy,

Your Patricia Polacco pack looks great! I have slacked on the walking, too, and am looking forward to having more time soon to walk.

Good to have you back on the blog,
